Gameplay Points (GPs)
Play, Earn, Collect
El Cardboard's version of Arcade Prizing for TCGs.
Gameplay Points (GPs) can only be earned during Gameplay Points Events, which will typically be Local Constructed nights. All GP Events, will be listed with [GP] in title.
There are a few ways for players to earn GPs such as;
- [ 1 Point ] Signing up for Gameplay Play Events in Advance (Bandai App / Melee App / elcardboard.shop)
- [ 1 Point ] Playing a Match
- [ 1 Point ] Winning a Match
- [ ~2+ Points ] Placing as One of the Top Ranking Players in a Tournament (Based on Attendance / Higher Rank = More Points / More Players, More Chances to be a Top Rank)
- [ 2 Points ] Bringing a Friend (First Time Visitor to El Cardboard) who takes part in a GP Event

Gameplay Points : Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How will GPs be tracked?
A. Initially, GPs will be tracked manually via Google Sheets by the Tournament Host. We will ask you for a good email, so that we can incorporate a more automated system in the future.
Q. Will my points expire?
A. As the Gameplay Points Program currently stands, once points are earned they will not expire until redeemed.
Q. When redeeming for Card Valued @ $XX, how does that work?
A. When redeeming for a high value card and it is not a card we have in stock we will go on TCGplayer to order the card on your behalf.
Q. How do Challenges work?
A. We will be releasing our first set of Challenges, which will be additional ways for players to earn GPs. If you are attempting a challenge, please notify your TO and they will be there to witness it's completion.
